This project is a case simulation made in Articulate Storyline. Ma is a 14-year-old house cat that is brought into the Vet’s office for a check-up. The student will review the client chart via a reconstructed ERM patient chart interface. The student will learn from the patient’s medical history via the ERM and by asking the patient’s owner a series of questions. Next the student will receive information regarding the patient’s physical. Based on the information received the student will select appropriate lab work from the ERM interface, based on a budget set by the owner. If the student requests lab work that is above the budget threshold, the owner will not approve the lab work and the student must reevaluate their selections. Results from the selected lab work will be revealed and upon conclusion, the student must diagnose the patient and recommend treatment. All student selections and text entries are captured within two reports at the conclusion of the case.
